The Fort Wayne, IN CMTA Branch is for those who have Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and their loved ones. We welcome you to join this vibrant group of active and caring individuals in your area to share resources, ideas, CMT-related information, and personal experiences and to, ultimately, build life-long friendships and support. Meetings will focus on CMT education, awareness, research updates, fundraising initiatives, advocacy, and current events and will include guest speakers. We love newcomers and hope you will join us at our next meeting!

Aimee Trammell

Branch Leader Picture
Aimee lives in a small country town in Northern Indiana. Aimee is a wife, mother, fitness instructor and branch co-leader for the CMTA. Along with managing four kids [two of her own and two step kids] ages 6-17, Aimee loves to teach yoga, strength training and tabata classes at a local gym. Aimee also has a love for baking which she does for small events, for her friends and family. Aimee and her husband love to travel to the Caribbean, specifically the Dominican Republic. Aimee has CMT1A and also EDS [Ehlers Danlos Syndrome] which is a connective tissue disease effecting every part of her body where connective tissue is found. Aimee doesn't allow her aliments to hold her back. She truly believes, 'I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.' Philippians 4:13
