Michael has lived in the Syracuse area his entire life. He and his wife, Karen, have been married for 23 years and share their house with their very happy English Springer Spaniel, Bacardi. Michael received his Masters Degree in Education from the State University of New York College at Oswego. He worked as an educator at a school district in a northern suburb of Syracuse, and spent 16 very satisfying years working in the Special Education Department. Prior to that he was a licensed card dealer, working at the largest casino in the State of New York. He retired in 2018 somewhat earlier than planned due to his CMT diagnosis, but it is Michael’s goal to be back on the golf course soon! When he’s not golfing he enjoys classic films, trivia and the Buffalo Bills. He is hoping to be able to support people who have been diagnosed with CMT through education and awareness.
