The Arizona CMTA Branch is for those who have Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and their loved ones. We welcome you to join this vibrant group of active and caring individuals in your area to share resources, ideas, CMT-related information, and personal experiences and to, ultimately, build life-long friendships and support. Meetings will focus on CMT education, awareness, research updates, fundraising initiatives, advocacy, and current events and will include guest speakers. We love newcomers and hope you will join us at our next meeting!

Branch Leader Picture
I’m BACK! As the Arizona CMTA Branch Leader from 2011, I finally had to step down in 2018 due to work and issues with mobility. I retired February 28, 2020, and my husband and I left Arizona where we have lived for 26 years and moved to Farmington, NM in April. As there are no face-to-face meetings due to Covid-19, I can now return and lead meetings (with guest speakers) through Zoom. I look forward to seeing all of you again! If you aren’t a member of our Arizona CMTA Branch Facebook group, please go to Facebook and ask to join.

Christina Fisher

Branch Co-Leader Picture
Christina was born in San Francisco and had lived most her life in the San Francisco Bay Area until 2002 when she moved to Arizona. At the age of 43, she was the first of his family diagnosed with CMT. Chris is proud to co-lead her local branch to carry on CMT’s tradition of providing invaluable resources and a venue for those of us that need to cope and adapt to the challenges of CMT. CMT has provided Chris a platform to see she was not the klutz everyone had thought and works with multiple organizations to help raise awareness and funds to find a cure for CMT. Her passion is to do all she can to be a banner of knowledge for this disease.
