Jacinta was born in the Azores and came to Massachusetts right after the Blizzard of ’78, which she was too little to remember. She was diagnosed with CMT at the age of 11 and has numerous family members with CMT. She has had both feet reconstructed and her goal now is to become more active. She would love to start biking and hiking as a hobby. She has lived in Newbury for the last two years with her husband and 13-year-old son, her parents, and numerous animals including dogs, cats, goats, etc. Her number one supporter through the past nine years has been her husband, and she couldn't do half of it without him.
