Ted Spring

Branch Leader Picture
After a career in higher education teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels and serving as a president at two colleges, Ted retired in Destin with his wife, Andrea. They have a daughter, Jessica, and a son, Trevor, and five young grandchildren. Ted is a member of Rotary International, the Sons of the American Revolution and the NWFSC Institute for Senior Professionals. Originally from upstate New York, Ted began experiencing multiple symptoms of CMT in 1966 but was not correctly diagnosed with CMT until 2015. Having a correct diagnosis significantly impacted the quality of his life through intervention services, including physical and occupational therapy and orthopedic braces. As leader of the Destin branch, Ted believes that sharing information about CMT and the impact of those services can be of benefit to others.
