Kelsey is the CMTA branch leader for the Triangle, NC area. She was diagnosed with CMT type 1a at the age of 5, and has made her way back to the community through Cycle4CMT. Kelsey and her husband, Jimmy, have hosted Cycle and Walk4CMT, Raleigh, and enjoy being a part of other local CMT events. As a clinical pharmacist with several years of experience in both the hospital and clinic settings, Kelsey understands that chronic disease management does not only include medication, but also a fantastic support system. She is excited to grow the community of people with CMT in North Carolina to empower others through connection and shared knowledge. When not encouraging people to do hard things, Kelsey enjoys traveling the world, cycling, reading, and volunteering. She currently lives in Durham with her amazing husband, Jimmy, and their beautiful rescue-dog, Lexi.
