The Baltimore Branch of the CMTA had a great meeting on November 19. Our guest speaker was Jeana Sweeney who used a quiz to teach us about CMT and the CMTA. Jeana also updated us on the current scientific advancements towards finding a treatment for CMT1A and a host of other CMT subtypes. We were also blessed to have CMTA Board Member Steve O’Donnell at the meeting. Our next meeting will be on Sunday, February 18th at 2PM at the Towson Branch of the Baltimore County Library. Our guest speakers will be CMTA Board Member Elizabeth Ouellette (via Skype) and Dankmeyer Orthotist Jed Newhardt. See you there!
