5th International CMT Consortium Meeting - Antwerp, 2013

[Please note: The Consortium announcement below is being published for the benefit of the scientists and clinicians who will be meeting in Antwerp in 2013 and presenting research abstracts and posters. The Consortium Meeting is not open to the general public.]

Dear colleagues,

Programme

The International CMT Consortium Meeting will have the same format as the previous meetings, with the emphasis on oral and poster presentations, ample time for discussion and interaction. The programme foresees a plenary lecture, platform and poster presentations covering clinical, diagnostic and basic research of peripheral neuropathies. A final programme will be send to all participants by fax or e-mail before June 1, 2013. An abstract book, including list of participants and sponsors will be available at the meeting. The aim is to exchange new information and, equally important, to start or strengthen collaborations between research groups.

Registration

The deadline for registration is May 15, 2013. Please complete and return your registration form to Mrs. Gisèle Smeyers (secretary). We will take care of the hotel reservations. Accommodation and seminar package have to be paid directly to the hotel upon departure.

Seminar Package with accommodation includes 2 nights hotel, meals, drinks during lunches and dinners and coffee breaks from Tuesday 6 pm (Dinner) until Thursday evening 6 pm. This does not include social activities, drinks, phone calls and other personal expenses.

Submission of abstracts
The deadline for abstract submission is May 15, 2013. Please follow the guidelines for abstract submission. To facilitate the final programming of the meeting, no abstracts will be accepted after the deadline. The scientific committee will select abstracts for platform or poster presentation.
Fellowship grants for investigators traveling from North America

The Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA) will provide limited and competitive travel fellowships to help defray the cost of PhD students and Postdocs, who will be presenting at the meeting. Please check the box on the abstract form if the presenter is a candidate for the fellowship. The CMTA and scientific committee will review and select those abstracts that are eligible for a travel fellowship.
