This summer, I went on a five-week teen travel hiking trip
throughout the western United States. Being the only kid on the trip with a

physical disability, I was hesitant.

Since Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease isn’t commonly known, I knew I would
have to teach people what they could do to help me.
