Fundraise for the CMTA

What mark would you like to leave on the world? Will you help to give 2.8 million people around the world a brand-new life … a future without Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease?

At the CMTA, our vision is a world without CMT. Our mission is to support the development of new drugs to treat CMT, to improve the quality of life for people with CMT, and, ultimately, to find a cure. The CMTA relies solely on private donations and community fundraising to reach our goal. When you support the CMTA, you are paving the path to a cure.

There are three major ways you can get involved and help us create a world without CMT:

Participate in a Walk 4 CMT

Walk 4 CMT is a volunteer-led national fundraising campaign for the CMTA. By participating in this year-round campaign, you will be joining hundreds of people across the country who want to improve the lives of those living with CMT. Funds raised by the Walk 4 CMT campaign fuel the CMTA’s efforts to find treatments for CMT and ultimately a cure. Get together with friends, colleagues, branch members and leaders to raise critical funds for the CMTA’s drug discovery program – STAR. Help us end CMT!

Create Your Own Donation Page

Turn your next special occasion into a party with a purpose by starting your own CMTA Fundraising Page. Whether you are celebrating your birthday, wedding, bar/bat mitzvah, or graduation, the funds you raise through your CMTA campaign will fund patient programs and treatment research initiatives to better the lives of the 2.8 million people living with CMT.

Host a CMTA Grassroots Event

Many people living with CMT, along with their friends and family, have made CMT and CMTA their cause! Our community members are turning their passion in action by hosting successful fundraising and awareness events, and YOU can too! Are you interested in hosting a golf outing, dinner, wine tasting, or bowling tournament? Whatever the event, the CMTA will help by supplying you with the tools and support you need so that your fundraiser is a top-notch success!
