Jessica Diamond

Branch Leader Picture
Jessica was diagnosed with CMT when she was just five years old. Most of her life she hid this disease from everyone until she became a camp counselor at Camp Footprint, the CMTA’s summer camp for kids with CMT. Her experiences at Camp Footprint gave her the confidence to talk about her CMT and show off her AFOs. Although she’s spent her life with this disease, she has never let it stop her from living life to the fullest. She has been a scuba diver since she was 18 and has been to many beautiful places to dive with her brother Greg (also diagnosed with CMT) and her father. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family (and dogs). Jessica lives with her boyfriend Billy and his three children that have been the biggest blessing to her life. Jessica’s time at Camp Footprint was a life-changing experience for her and has motivated her to become more involved with the CMTA. Helping to spread awareness about CMT has become an important part of her life and she’s very excited to become a branch leader and continue her journey with the CMTA!

She lives with her fiance Robert, their children Wyatt and Robbie, dog Butterbean and Wyatt's gecko Trecko.
