If you are between the ages of 13 and 21 and would like to connect with other kids who have CMT, join our CMTA Youth Group on Facebook. The Youth Group is moderated and maintained by CMTA staff members.
The CMTA’s Camp Footprint was established in 2016 and is the ONLY camp in the United States just for kids with CMT! It is an annual, FREE, five-day sleepaway camp for youth (ages 10-18) with CMT. Every year, our campers tell us that being around other kids who “understand” and “just get it” is what makes Camp Footprint so rewarding. For many of our campers, it has been life-changing.
The CMTA holds Patient/Family Conferences nationwide on a regular basis and typically hosts a CMTA Youth Outing during the conference so kids with CMT can meet and have fun with their peers. Check our events schedule for a conference or CMTA Youth Outing near you!
Are you getting ready to apply for college? Read our College Guide for CMTers written by college junior, Yohan Bouchard!
CMTeen is an online magazine by, for and about the 13- to 19-year-old members of the CMT community.
We’re looking for submissions and ideas. What do our CMTeens want to read about? School? Sports? Bullying? Braces? Let us know and we’ll do our best to get it in print. Or write it yourself and get a really great writing credit for your permanent record!
Send ideas, submissions and comments to firstname.lastname@example.org.
