The 8th Annual CMTA Gala

October 24 @ 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

| $500

Please join us for the 8th Annual CMTA Gala at the Essex House on Central Park South in Manhattan on October 24 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Speakers include:

Christina Baker Kline, author of A Piece of the World, a book about Christina Olson, the famous subject of Andrew Wyeth’s Christina’s World.

Dr. Michael E. Shy, chair, CMTA Clinical Expert Board.

Dr. Steven S. Scherer, member, CMTA Scientific Advisory Board.

Starting with Christina Olson’s experience living on a farm in the early 1900s, Ms. Kline and Drs. Shy and Scherer will guide you through the past, present and future of CMT and the real hope that exists for treatments for the 2.8 million people living with it.

You’ll see the way the CMTA’s Strategy to Accelerate research has significantly advanced CMT research and the progress we have made this year, but most importantly, you’ll learn how your continuing commitment and support will enable the CMTA to finish developing the first treatments for CMT.
