AZ—Phoenix Area Support Group
The first meeting of the Phoenix area support group will be Saturday, November 21, 2009, from 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Cronkite School of Journalism, Room 125, Arizona State University, 555 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ.
The guest speaker at this first meeting will be a neurologist from Barrow's Institute at St. Joe's Hospital, and this will also be an opportunity to meet others in your area with CMT and exchange ideas about future meetings, topics, and speakers.

The next meeting of the Los Angeles Area support group will take place on Saturday, January 16, 2010, from 10:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Charcot-Marie-Tooth/Hereditary Neuropathy Center at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, 8700 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Glenn Pfeffer, co-director of the center, will be the guest speaker.

CA—San Mateo/San Francisco Bay Area Support Group
The next meeting of the San Francisco Bay area support group will take place on Saturday, December 5, 2009, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the Laurel Room of the San Mateo Library, 55 W 3rd Ave, San Mateo, CA.
Elizabeth will give a brief presentation updating the progress on STAR, and Cheryl Sherman, the CMTA's new Director of Community Development, will also speak about her responsibilities and what she hopes to achieve. Among other things, Cheryl will be working with support group leaders to schedule meetings, presentations, etc.

PA—Philadelphia Area Support Group
The next meeting of the Philadelphia area support group will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. at the CMTA office, 2700 Chestnut St, Chester, PA.
Lunch will be provided, and we will be speaking with David Tannenbaum, a psychotherapist who recently joined the group, about the psychological and emotional impact of CMT.
